Macbeth’s early intentions (act 1, scene 7).

1.If this business would really be finished when I did the deed, then it would be best to get it over with quickly.(this was the first early intention of Macbeth)

2.If the assassination of the king could work like a net, sweeping up everything and preventing any consequences. It says if he can plan something organised that makes anyone not discovery him if he kills the king.(the second early intention of Macbeth)

3.First of all, I am his kinsman and his subject, so I should always try to protect him. Second, I am his host, so I should be closing the door in his murderer’s face, not trying to murder him myself.(the third early intention of Macbeth).

  1. This is great, Andres. You can clearly see that Macbeth himself doesn’t want to kill Duncan.
