Pathetic fallacy

Pathetic fallacy is a literary device that attributes human qualities and emotions to inanimate objects of nature.

For example in Macbeth text of Shakespeare’s it appears in act 1, scene 1. When the first witch said that they are going to meet in thunder, lightning or in rain. That are objects of nature.

Dramatic irony

Is a dramatic device that allows the audience to be aware of things that some (or all) of the characters in a text do not.

For example: in act 1, scene 4 of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Macbeth speaks in an aside (to the audience) telling us that he is going to have dispense with the king’s son Malcolm in order to become king himself.

 

Summary of act 2 scene 1

This scene start with Macbeth, Banquo and Fleance talking about the king Duncan about why they don’t prepared the bed for him, later Banquo dream something about the three witches of the last day that he have see they then Macbeth says that he don’t care in that moment.

Then he started to talk again about the decision for kill to the king or not,and how it feels if he does it, and some facts that Macbeth explain.

Summary of act 1 scene 7

This scene starts with the confusión of Macbeth, that he dont decided if he want to kill to the king Duncan or not and his husband says why he don’t do it because she wants to feel the power inside she and Macbeth says that he is thinking in a plan that wants to anyone know it and the thing that he motivates him is ambition.

Last two lines of act 1 scene 7

Away, and mock the time with fairest show, false face must hide what the false heart doth know.

This means that if you want something but you don’t want that anybody knows how is your personality, you must have to create a new personality and not being yourself for lie to the others

Macbeth’s early intentions (act 1, scene 7).

1.If this business would really be finished when I did the deed, then it would be best to get it over with quickly.(this was the first early intention of Macbeth)

2.If the assassination of the king could work like a net, sweeping up everything and preventing any consequences. It says if he can plan something organised that makes anyone not discovery him if he kills the king.(the second early intention of Macbeth)

 

3.First of all, I am his kinsman and his subject, so I should always try to protect him. Second, I am his host, so I should be closing the door in his murderer’s face, not trying to murder him myself.(the third early intention of Macbeth).

 

Summary of act 1 scene 6

Starts with the actual king Duncan that comes with their lords and messengers arriving to the castle of Macbeth, then he said that he has a beautiful environment ,respecting to Macbeth, and his husband lady Macbeth that comes out to receive him too and later she said that is disrespectful from she to not be hospitable with the grand king Duncan because they have much to offer, then Duncan says if she can let him pass to their castle, treating to she very kind

Summary of act 1 scene 5

Lady Macbeth is reading the letter that his messenger give to she and says about the three evil witches that they had say to Macbeth the fact that he is going to be king. Then her husband Macbeth enter and she ask about it, then he start to explain about it, and when Macbeth finished, she said that is not good for him to be king because he will become evil and will kill people to make his kingdom at his own and when they finished they talk about Duncan (the king)that he was going to leave tonight, then Macbeth says to his wife that they will talk further about that later.

Translation of Act 1 scene 4

Means that when Macbeth was going to met the king for the ceremony of Malcolm the man who was chosed for the next king of Scotland, Macbeth gets surprised for that, but he had a plan that was, gain the respect of the king to be the next king after Malcolm and made his kingdom at his own way in a evil way.

Summary of the all scene 1 act 3

This scene was, in a few words that the witches appeared in front of Macbeth and they said that he is going to be a king in the future without doing nothing and he believe it, and to Banquo they said that his children will sit up in the throne someday.Later the prediction of the witches for Macbeth come true,But Banquo tell to Macbeth, that it comes half-true what the witches said ,but is for harm they later. But Macbeth don’t care because his wish was to be a king.
