Summary of act 3, scene 3

This scene starts with the three murderers that they were searching to Banquo for kill him, later they have found him, but he was with his son, after that the murderers attack and killed Banquo, cutting his throat, Banquo fast say that his son must leave and make vengeance with those they have killed their father and with all his luck, he escaped successfully and the murdered think about follow him, but they said at least they have Banquo, to show the half progress they have made.

Summary of act 3, scene 2

This scene starts with the thinking of Macbeth, about the murder of the poor king Duncan, his thinking was obssesive and desperately with the horror scene that he caused and in the trouble in which he can be involved if the people discover that him was the murder of the king. Then with Lady Macbeth present, she starts and says, it was better to be the killed person, than the killer with desperately thinking all his life. Macbeth admitted that he have sad thinkings and feelings about the king. After that lady Macbeth says that his thinkings and feelings cannot be the same all his life and that the actions that are done, are almost done. Later they finished and the murderers start to search to Banquo, because he had leave the castle.

 

Summary of act 3, scene 1

This scene starts with that Macbeth finally is the king, and he is calm for the moment, but later he discover the fact about the three witches had told to Banquo, and Macbeth know that he is very close to him and that he ¨maybe would do the same¨, to obtain the position of being king. Then he was talking with a servant, that were talking about three people are waiting for him, to negotiate the murder of Banquo, and later they decided that they were going to kill him, after he leaves the castle for go riding.

Year 10 Task: Reaction Times

  1. When driving the ability to stop in a reasonable time  is very important  for the safety of the driver, passenger and other drivers. This time can be broken down into three parts breaking stopping and time. Explain what each of these are.

Answer: the first one is the the braking distance, that is the distance taken to stop once the brakes are applied. And the other is the thinking distance– It takes time for a driver to react to a situation. During this reaction time the car carries on moving. The thinking distance is the distance traveled in between the driver realizing he needs to brake and actually braking.

2.How do these times vary with speed?

Answer: for example if the surface of the road is icy the time that will take to decrease the speed to the driver is a lot, but if the surface is dry the time that will take to the driver to stop is less. It depends on the conditions of the weather and also the driver.

3.Why does it take longer to stop the faster you are going?

Answer: because you need more friction and it takes more longer when you go more faster, but if its slow it will takes less friction and time, but that also vary in the tires of the vehicle and the vehicle conditions.

4.How can a driver improve their reaction time?

Answer: staying concentrate on the road without distractions and take a rest when the driver is feel tired and eating and drinking energetic foods.

5.What distractions can increase reaction times?

Answer: not staying concentrate on the road, dont taking a rest and be drunk.

6.Name three substances that have an effect on reaction time.

Answer: the beer, sometimes drugs and bad healthy foods that dont gives you energy.

7.How does being under the influence of one of these substances affect the safety of others around you?

Answer: they will be in danger, because you can crush with one of them and also kill him, because of your reaction time and the effects of the substances that you consume.

 

Summary of act 2, scene 4

This scene starts with an old man and Ross talking about the strange and horrible murder of the king Duncan, then Macduff enters and they were talking about who kills to the king, then Macduff says it was Macbeth servants but was Macbeth, then they say goodbye each other and next leave.

1. In act 1, scene 3 after the three witches leave ,he was thinking ambitiously about the Thane of Cawdor , the fact that he was going to be the king of Scothland, because Macbeth said: tell me more. By finel’s death, i know i am the Thane of Glamis, but how of Cawdor?

2. In act 1, scene 4 Macbeth was thinking so confident that he was going to be the king, but instead of that ,the king announces that his son Malcolm will have the new position of king because he said before: the service and the loyalty I owe, in doing it, pays itself. Your highness’ part is to receive our duties, and our duties are to your throne and state , children and servants, which do but what they should by doing everything safe toward your love and honour. 

3. In act 1, scene 5 Macbeth was thinking the feeling of kill to the king, but firstable he must told to his wife and think how they can done it and he said: we will speak further about that later. At the end of the scene.

4. In act 1, scene 7 Macbeth was thinking the stupidest thing that he was going to do. (The murder of the king Duncan). Inside him he was thinking that he must have to stop this, because is not necessary and at the start of the scene he says: if it were done when ‘this done, then ‘there well it were done quickly.If th’ assassination and catch with his surcease, success, that but this blow might be the be-all and end-all here,but here upon this bank and shoal of time, we had jump the life to come.

5. In act 2, scene 1 Macbeth was talking with Banquo about when they are going to sleep but , Macbeth was thinking in white and feeling nothing , but inside him he was so nervous and worried and angry. And he said: If you stick with me, when the time comes, there will be something in it for you. That is the murder of the king Duncan.

Summary of act 2, scene 3

This scene starts with a porter, that it is drunk hearing the knock from the door about Macduff and Donalbain then the porter was saying weird things relationated to the hell and suicide. After that Macduff and Donalbain enters asking why he didn’t go to the bed, later they ask if Macbeth is in , but he has woke up with the knocks they have done , then Macduff ask if he can wake up early to the king duncan, but then Macduff get a horror surprise that was the murder of Duncan, then Malcolm, Donalbain and “lady Macbethwake up and see the horror scene about the murder, ( but lady Macbeth know it before because they have plan it with Macbeth).Later they have talked about this horror fact and later Macbeth confessed to Macduff he has killed the king , but Malcolm and Donalbain hear and they said now what are we gonna do???

Summary of act 2, scene 2

In this scene Lady Macbeth starts to help to she’s husband for plan how to kill to the king Duncan, then Macbeth was surprised on how his wife is planning to kill to the king, because she has put daggers of the servants where Macbeth can find it, later Macbeth starts to think about it and why he can pray but not finish saying amen, but was because the murder that they were going to do was the worst thing they can ever done in their lives, after that Macbeth was regretful for think in that idea and that they was no escape, Lady Macbeth says that he’s a coward and that she is going to do it.

Metaphysics

They are the principal facts of philosophy that deals with the first principles of things, including abstract concepts such as being, knowing, identity, time, and space.

For example in Macbeth act 2, scene 1 when Macbeth said is this a dagger which I see before me, the handle toward my hand? It means the feel for kill the king Duncan’s but abstractly.

Paradox

Is a statement or proposition that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality expresses a possible truth.

For example in Macbeth text (act 1, scene 2) The captain of king Duncan’s said “Doubtful it stood, as two spent swimmers that do cling together and choke their art”. Is absurd but the captain want to says something true to the king.
