Macbeth: She should have died hereafter.
There would have been a time for such a word.
Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last syllable of recorded time,
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
In this part of Shakespeare`s play of Macbeth, the author is trying to tell us that life is too short for everyone and that everyone will die someday. Some days will be the worst and others the best ones, but we don`t pay attention to time that has passed until we feel we are approaching death, then we think it is short. Also when life is finished Shakespeare said that we are ‘heard no more’, this means we become dust and nothing because when someone dies they can`t feel or create anymore history because it`s finished. In conclusion we start like a “poor player”, naive, but when then grow we learn how things are. We will be happy, sad, scared or annoyed, we will enjoy what we like,family and other things but we have the same destiny, that is DEATH. From when you are born, you start like an innocent poor player, and then you discover and find out how your environment is. With that you grow creating your own unique person, you continue learning and become a youth and you meet all kinds of people; your family, friends and acquaintances everywhere.Then when you reach the age of 18 years old you become someone mature and ready to start your own life. You begin solving problems and making your own decisions, also you start your first job doing what you want and making progress. however, Macbeth says ‘yesterday have lighted fools’ that means life is meaningless .
When you are getting older and older, like Macbeth said in his speech “tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow’ you feel that time is ending quickly and “creeps”up on you. And when you die your history finishes and therefore like Macbeth says it is “signifying nothing”. In conclusion Macbeth is trying to communicate to us that life is brief and surprisingly death can creeps up on us.
